The Pacific Health Dialog is currently undergoing a change in management. We apologize for the delay in processing submitted manuscripts. We aim to start the process as soon as possible.

Title: "The importance of leadership in healthcare in the Pacific". 

This is the second release for 2025. It opens with a a compelling editorial by PMAG President, Dr Kiki Maoate, calling for have the political will, moral clarity, and cultural humility in working towards improving the health outcomes for Pacific peoples. Followed by the researches exploring the differences in cataract surgery outcomes in Fiji; and a look at the views of Pacific people on the role of community pharmacists; a literature review of culturally adapted programs for Pacific peoples; a perspective piece on the successful response from the Cook Island government to COVID 19; and lastly, an intriguing piece on using Talanoa as a way to build networks among Health Professionals in Australia.

The Pasifika Medical Association invites you to submit an abstract to present your research programs, models of care and best practice in relation to Pacific Health. This year we are accepting abstracts for oral papers.  Please ensure your abstract demonstrates a connection to the conference theme.
